1. Who you are agreeing with
Guise: AI Photo Editor ("the App") is provided by Mahendra Kumar, an individual developer based in India ("we", "us"). By installing or using the App you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the App.

2. Who may use it
You must be at least 16 years old. If the law where you live sets a higher age for agreeing to terms like these on your own, you must have reached that age. The App is not directed at children.
3. What the App does
You pick a template and one of your own photos. Our server places the face from your photo into that template and returns the result for you to save. The App is free to use and supported by advertising.
4. Your photos, and the rights you give us
You keep ownership of the photos you upload. We claim no ownership of them.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, transmit and process your photo for the single purpose of producing the result you asked for and making it available to you in the App. That licence ends when the photo is deleted. It does not permit us to publish your photos, show them to other users, use them in marketing, or use them to train AI models.
You must have the right to upload the photo. By uploading you confirm that you own it or are permitted to use it, and that any identifiable person in it has agreed to it being processed this way. Do not upload photographs of other people without their permission, and do not upload photographs of children who are not in your care.
5. The images the App produces
You may use the resulting images subject to these Terms and to you having the rights to the source photo.
Automated face-swap output is unpredictable. A result may be distorted, unflattering, inaccurate, not resemble you, or simply be poor. We make no promise about the quality, accuracy or suitability of any generated image, and a disappointing result is not a defect in the App.
6. What you must not do
- Upload anything unlawful, or sexual imagery of any kind — and never anything sexual involving a minor.
- Create material designed to deceive: impersonating a real person, fabricating events, or producing content intended to defame, harass, threaten or humiliate someone.
- Upload another person's photograph without their permission, or use the App to produce imagery of someone who has not agreed to it.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App, or try to reach our servers or other users' data by any route the App does not offer.
- Automate, scrape, or flood our service, or interfere with advertising.
- Resell or redistribute the App or pass it off as your own.
We may block access if you do any of these. Because the App has no accounts, enforcement is necessarily limited — but abuse of an AI image tool can be a criminal matter, and we will cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.
7. Advertising
The App shows advertising, including full-screen ads at certain points and optional ads you can watch to unlock a feature such as saving without a watermark. Ads are supplied by Google AdMob and we do not control which specific adverts appear. See our Privacy Policy for what is collected in the course of showing them.
8. Availability, and changes to the App
We provide the App as it is, without any promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted, or free of faults. We may change features, add or remove styles, or discontinue the App entirely. Generation depends on a third-party AI service which may itself be slow, unavailable, or withdrawn.
9. Your data
How we handle your data is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In short: uploaded photos are deleted after 30 days, we hold no contact details about you. You can request deletion by email while self-service deletion is unavailable; see Delete Your Data.
10. Disclaimers and limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the App is provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim (which, for a free app, is normally nothing) or INR 1,000.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, these Terms do not affect statutory rights you have that cannot be waived, including under India's Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from photos you upload without the necessary rights or permissions, or from your use of the App in breach of these Terms.
12. Ending this agreement
You may stop at any time by uninstalling the App. You may also request deletion of your data by email. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms. Sections 4 (rights you have granted), 10, 11 and 13 survive.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere you may also have the right to bring proceedings in your own country of residence.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and a material change will be announced in the App before it takes effect. Continuing to use the App after that means you accept the new Terms.
15. Third-party terms
Using the App also means you are subject to Google Play's terms. Google Play is operated by Google, not by us, and its terms apply to its part of the service.
